Kefalonia

Kefalonia is considered to be one of the most beautiful, unspoiled islands in the whole of Greece. It is blessed with pretty villages, friendly locals, delicious food and wine, and amazing beaches. Kefalonia took its name from the mythical being “Kefalos” who was the ancestor of the race of the Kefalides in Attica and the first King of Kefalonia. Kefalonia has been voted the tenth most beautiful place in the world and it’s not difficult to see why: The beaches are as close to paradise as you can ever imagine and each little village seems prettier than the last. The island has no high-rise resorts, no noise, and no pressure – this is holiday heaven!
